The bandit leader at the head of the group spoke with an excited look, as though he could already see victory waving at him.

"You pieces of trash, stop making fools of yourselves here. Crushing you to death would be easier than squashing an ant. If you have what it takes, get past me first before you start boasting," Chen Xiaofan said carelessly, a cold smile curling at his lips.
"Brothers, look at how arrogant that brat is. Doesn't he just look like he's begging for a beating? If we don't beat him until his head is bloody and make him kneel and beg for mercy today, I'm afraid this rage in our hearts won't be soothed!"
Seeing Chen Xiaofan remain so calm and composed, completely disregarding them, the bandit leader's fury surged skyward. He spoke viciously.
"You little brat who knows neither the height of heaven nor the depth of earth, you dare look down on us? Do you think we're men who live off women? Open your eyes and take a good look at the scars on our faces. Then you'll understand that we are men who have weathered countless storms. How could we possibly be frightened by a wet-behind-the-ears brat like you?"
