Arc 25Rescue and Roadside Bandits

Chen Xiaofan rescued abducted children, accepted the City Lord’s gratitude, and left the city after giving the children money. He killed two Great Grandmasters who tried to rob him, then intervened when bandits attacked Red-robed Zhuangyuan Lang.

  • Chen Xiaofan killed Old Zhang, explained to the gathered crowd that he had rescued the children from traffickers, and received their apologies.
  • Chen Xiaofan brought the children to the City Lord’s Mansion, where the City Lord promised them safety and help finding their families, and the City Lord’s Wife offered to care for Xiao Hong.
  • The children gave Chen Xiaofan a knitted yarn boot, and he shared silver notes with them before leaving the mansion with the City Lord’s gifts.
  • The Man in Purple Robe and Young Master in Blue Robe followed Chen Xiaofan out of the city and demanded his Wooden Box, but he defeated and killed them when they attacked him.

Arc 26The Qingshi Sect’s Reckoning

Chen Xiaofan defeated the bandits who targeted Zhuangyuan Lang, then drew their secret backer, the Qingshi Sect Leader, into the open. After crushing the sect’s fighters, Chen Xiaofan demanded that they atone, and the Sect Leader swallowed a black pill to resist.

  • Chen Xiaofan rejected the bandits’ bribes and threats, defeated them, and pursued them after they fled, using a ghostly trick to frighten them before returning in time to stop their attack on Zhuangyuan Lang.
  • The bandit leader stabbed his two companions, then tried to fight Chen Xiaofan with his venomous Flowery Snake, but Chen Xiaofan cut the snake into pieces.
  • When the bandit leader begged for mercy, Chen Xiaofan refused and waited for the man’s backer, while Zhuangyuan Lang urged him to punish the bandit.
  • The Qingshi Sect Leader arrived with his men, revealed his ties to the bandit leader, and challenged Chen Xiaofan, who learned Qingshi Sect Swordplay by watching the Sect Leader demonstrate it.
  • Chen Xiaofan defeated the Qingshi Sect Leader with one move, killed the Second Boss with a slap, and fought off the sect members who attacked him.
  • Chen Xiaofan stopped the fleeing Sect Leader and rejected the sect members’ pleas and offers of compensation, then ordered them to commit suicide for their crimes.
  • The Qingshi Sect Leader chose to resist and swallowed a foul-smelling black pill he had bought at a black market, hoping to increase his power.

Arc 27Chen Xiaofan’s Unstoppable Blade

Chen Xiaofan defeated the Qingshi Sect and the bandit leader, then continued through the cities and mountains, killing those who provoked him. The stretch ended with Chen Xiaofan forging a sword from precious ore and killing Zhang Chu after defeating him in a fight.

  • Chen Xiaofan defeated the Qingshi Sect Leader despite his breakthrough, then killed him and the disciples who begged for mercy.
  • Chen Xiaofan returned in time to save Zhuangyuan Lang from the bandit leader, whom Zhuangyuan Lang tortured before Chen Xiaofan killed him.
  • Chen Xiaofan escorted Zhuangyuan Lang to the city on a flying sword, then killed the Young Master in White and his men after they abused a beggar and tried to seize him.
  • Chen Xiaofan killed the remaining attackers, deposited his money at a bank, and flew away without confronting the bandits robbing it.
  • Chen Xiaofan killed a Middle-aged Daoist who tried to take his sword, then defeated and killed the Daoist’s younger brother when he sought revenge.
  • Chen Xiaofan had a blacksmith forge a sword from precious ore and demonstrated its sharpness by splitting a boulder.
  • Zhang Chu threatened to take Chen Xiaofan’s sword by force, but Chen Xiaofan defeated him with his movement and Sword Skill and killed him.
