• Ye Lei helped Han Nuan’s parents and several strangers obtain Soul Rings, completed his first mission, and was captured by Xiao Xiong’s soldiers before the Seventh Elder tried to recruit him by threatening Han Nuan’s family.

After news of a deadly marine-life mutation brought him and Tang Yunqing to Banyan City, Ye Lei was wounded protecting her, and Ying secretly collected his blood.

• Ye Lei defeated the Sixth Elder’s men in the neighborhood plaza, killing them with his Soul Skills and Four Fires Heaven Domain, then the Elder Hall chose to withdraw its informants rather than attack him.
• Ye Lei took his parents and Han Nuan’s family to Wulin to hunt Soul Rings, where he drove off a gang and helped the group defeat a family of Azure Green White-Browed Tigers.
• Ye Lei gave Han Nuan’s Mother the tiger’s Azure Gale Right Arm Bone, helped Han Nuan and her parents absorb Soul Rings, and raised her parents’ first Soul Rings with his Blue Silver Domain.
• Ye Lei and his family confronted girls bullying another girl, and Ye Junqing had Qin Haoze fired before Ye Lei beat Qin Song and stopped the girls and their bodyguards from escaping.
• Ye Lei found Shadow spying on the group, trapped him in Blue Silver Emperor vines, and led everyone out of Wulin, and Shadow later reported his failed mission to his superior.
• After a news report about mutated marine life in Banyan City, Ye Lei took Tang Yunqing to the exhibition hall, where they found dead civilians and a massive creature waiting above them.
• Ye Lei killed a 1,400-year-old Ice Thorn Swordfish and told Tang Yunqing to absorb its Soul Ring, but the dying fish pierced his abdomen and left him in severe pain.
• Ye Lei repaired his wound with the Blue Silver Domain and helped Tang Yunqing finish absorbing the ring before they went to the hospital, and Ying secretly collected drops of Ye Lei’s blood at the exhibition hall.

Ye Lei entered university, brought his roommates into the Mirror World, and helped them obtain Soul Rings. During military training, he broke his seals to kill a sixty-thousand-year Hell Scythe Mantis, then concealed his strength from the witnesses while Han Nuan kept the truth.

• Ye Lei found that the soul beasts in Riverside Forest had been slaughtered and killed Shadow, a Poison Dragon Legion member who demanded the Elder Hall nameplate.
• At Rongcheng University, Han Nuan stood up to Ma Tianming, while Ye Lei met his roommates and learned that the school’s wristbands could send students to the Mirror World.
• Ye Lei took Song Yang, Jing Hang, and Chen Sican into the Mirror World, helped them hunt Soul Beasts and obtain Soul Rings, and sold the corpses for Soul Coins.
• During military training, Ye Lei revealed his two martial souls and four Hundred-Year Soul Rings, while Song Yang, Jing Hang, and Chen Sican displayed their Thousand-Year First Rings.
• A sixty-thousand-year Hell Scythe Mantis attacked the students after one boy recklessly chose a powerful Soul Beast, and Jing Hang was injured while saving him.

Ye Lei recovered a soul bone from the Mirror World, helped his friends gain Soul Rings, and revealed the Elder Hall’s threat to them. The arc ended with Jing Hang absorbing a Soul Bone as Ye Lei began absorbing the Hell Scythe Right Arm Bone.

• After recovering his memories, Ye Lei returned with his classmates and helped expose Chu Ci’s danger, leading to Chu Ci’s expulsion from Rong University.
• Han Nuan reached Level 30 and absorbed a fifty-thousand-year Mimic Soul Ring as Ye Lei learned the Hell Scythe Mantis had left him a Right Arm Bone.
