During the Anno Domini Era, individuals with unusually developed brain regions were considered to possess supernatural abilities, but no systematic methods existed to develop those abilities into practical strength. After God Transformation Day, Mental Power became a cultivated force among Martial Artists and the defining power of Mind Power Masters. 3

Lin Zhen possessed hidden Mental Power in his previous life, but only discovered it after repeated shocks and developed it too late to substantially alter his future. After his rebirth, he deliberately awakened it before turning seventeen, giving it far greater room to grow. 3 4

A Mental Power Potion is the standard awakening resource. Refined from the genes of Mutated Beasts skilled in mental control, it stimulates the brain and can require hours or days to awaken latent potential; attempting to cultivate unconfirmed Mental Power carries a stated ninety-nine-percent risk of brain damage. 3 4
