Siblings and the Okuchi no Makami

As Sirius walked forward, he sized up the brother and sister standing below Kaido.

The older sister looked five or six years old, about the same age Sirius had once been. Her hair was unusual—thick sky-blue strands that looked as though they had been stuck together from not being washed for ages, with pink hair scattered between them like decoration.

She wore a somewhat tattered dress and an equally ragged mask that hid her face, but her eyes were lively, constantly darting around.

Behind her was probably her younger brother, only three or four years old. He wore a pointed hat, with two locks of purple hair hanging from beneath its brim. He clutched his sister's hand with his head lowered, looking terrified.

Sirius knew who these two little brats were.

While the others were chatting nonsense, Yamato had already strode forward. She stopped before the siblings and extended a hand with a cheerful smile. "Hello, I'm Yamato. Starting today, we're companions."

But something unexpected happened. The older sister glared up at Yamato, then raised her hand and slapped Yamato's hand away, shouting,

"Who wants to be your companion?!"

Oh wow, Teacher Queen had been right. She really was defiant. Sirius could not help smiling.

Black Maria shook her head. "That won't do, little sister. Learning to fit into your surroundings is how you grow up."

"Who are you calling little sister?!"

The little girl glared at Black Maria. "I have a name! My name is Ulti!"

"Oh, hello, Ulti. My name is Yamato." Yamato pointed at herself.

"Who's playing introductions with you?!"

Sirius walked forward with a smile and patted Yamato on the back amid Ulti's glare. "Come on, idiot. Time to eat."

Come to think of it, Sirius and Yamato had become friends the first time they met.

Sirius smiled.

Everyone took their seats.

As usual, Sirius and Yamato sat beside their two teachers, King and Queen, while Jack and Black Maria, as trainee officers, sat below them.

Sirius thought with a smile.

"A Mythical Zoan?" Yamato's eyes immediately lit up.

Sirius had grown so rapidly because of the ability he possessed, and now he had completely surpassed her.

If she ate this fruit, could she catch up to Sirius?

At that moment, Kaido, holding up the fruit, looked toward Yamato.

"Yamato, my foolish daughter, the same question as always. If your answer satisfies me, this fruit will be yours."

"I refuse!"

Yamato shouted.
