An Encounter with Kakashi Hatake's Team

Xuan Ye ran away quickly because that scene was a little too much for him to handle.

Seeing Xuan Ye run off without saying a word, many villagers called out to his retreating figure.

"Young Master Xuan Ye, make sure to go out more often!"

"Young Master Xuan Ye, we all like you."

Some young girls even said, "Young Master Xuan Ye, hurry up and grow up!" These people are way too enthusiastic. He thought to himself, Go out more? Even if I do go out, I should avoid wandering around the streets as much as possible.

Xuan Ye was fast, and after running for a short while, the villagers were no longer in sight. He stopped to rest for a moment.

He took out the grilled squid he had just bought and took a huge bite. He had been running the entire time, so he had not had the chance to eat it—not even time for a single bite.

Xuan Ye was starving. In no time, the few skewers of grilled squid in his hand had gone into his stomach. Though the squid was fragrant and delicious, those few skewers were nowhere near enough to fill him up. They could only barely stave off his hunger.

So Xuan Ye continued walking through Konoha's streets, looking for something tasty that could fill his stomach. After searching for a while, he still could not find anything he wanted to eat that was filling enough.

Xuan Ye was a little disappointed, but he kept walking. Then, his eyes suddenly lit up when he spotted a shop in the distance. Its name was Ichiraku Ramen.

"This should be the Ichiraku Ramen from Naruto, right? It has to be." Xuan Ye muttered to himself.

Xuan Ye entered Ichiraku Ramen and looked around. There were quite a lot of people eating noodles inside, so he walked in, picked a seat at random, and sat down. "Boss, bring me a bowl of Ichiraku Ramen. Any kind is fine."

"Certainly, customer. Please wait a moment. It'll be ready soon."

Hearing the owner's voice, Xuan Ye looked in its direction and saw the owner's face. It was a completely unfamiliar face, someone Xuan Ye did not know at all, so he did not pay much attention to him.

In truth, Xuan Ye did not know what ingredients Ichiraku Ramen had either. He simply did not want to choose, so he casually ordered a bowl. However, Ichiraku Ramen had been Naruto's favorite shop, so Xuan Ye guessed the ramen here should taste pretty good.

After ordering, Xuan Ye sat in his chosen seat and waited.

Suddenly, someone patted his shoulder. Xuan Ye raised his head in confusion and saw three people: two boys and a girl. They were Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara. Since his father, Minato Namikaze, was currently the teacher of these three, Xuan Ye recognized them.

Even if he had never met them before, Xuan Ye would still have recognized Kakashi Hatake. The current Kakashi Hatake was much younger than he had been in the anime, but one thing was still the same: he wore a mask just like in the anime. Xuan Ye had no idea why he wore one.

The Third Shinobi World War was nearing its end, and Konoha was about to enter another period of peaceful development. However, Xuan Ye did not know when Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara among the three would die. In his previous life, he had never watched far enough in the anime to see when the two of them died.

The three walked over and casually sat down at the other three corners of Xuan Ye's table. Rin Nohara sat across from him, while Obito Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake sat on either side.

As soon as they sat down, the three shouted at the owner, "Boss, three bowls of Ichiraku Ramen! Make all three large portions, and hurry!"

The owner replied, "All right, customers. Please sit tight. The noodles will be here soon."

After ordering, Obito Uchiha began talking to him. "Little Ye, it really is you! I wasn't sure when I came in just now, but I didn't expect it to actually be you. It's only been a while, but Little Ye, you've gotten even cuter." Obito Uchiha looked a little excited upon seeing him.

Xuan Ye looked at Obito Uchiha's face and naturally saw his excited expression as well, but he had no idea what Obito Uchiha was so excited about. What's so exciting about seeing me? I'm just his teacher's son.

Rin Nohara, who was seated across from Xuan Ye, nodded heavily in strong agreement with Obito Uchiha's words. She even reached out and pinched his cheeks, only letting go after pinching them for quite a while.

Seeing that Rin Nohara had finally released his face, Xuan Ye let out a sigh of relief.

Seeing Rin Nohara agree with him, Obito Uchiha tilted his head back and laughed at Kakashi Hatake. But when Kakashi Hatake ignored him, he used both hands to pull at his face, made several ridiculous expressions, and even stuck out his tongue to show his disdain for Kakashi Hatake.

However, Kakashi Hatake still ignored Obito Uchiha. He merely narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at Xuan Ye, staring at him the entire time until Xuan Ye's scalp began to tingle.

Rin Nohara's gaze remained fixed on Kakashi Hatake and Xuan Ye. From time to time, she looked at Kakashi Hatake, then shifted her gaze to Xuan Ye, but never once did she look at Obito Uchiha.

Xuan Ye broke out in a cold sweat. The relationship between these three was really rather complicated. Obito Uchiha liked Rin Nohara, while Rin Nohara only liked Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi Hatake, meanwhile, had never noticed Rin Nohara's feelings. He only continued competing with Obito Uchiha, treating Obito Uchiha as a brother.

Seeing that the atmosphere had become a little awkward, Xuan Ye said, "Sister Rin Nohara, why did you two come to Ichiraku Ramen?"

Obito Uchiha, seated across from Xuan Ye, completely missed the point of his question. The moment he heard that Xuan Ye had not called him big brother, he became agitated. He stood up and pointed at Xuan Ye.

"Little Ye, why do you call Little Rin sister, but call Kakashi Hatake and me 'you two'? Calling Kakashi Hatake that is one thing, but why are you calling me that?"

After saying that, Obito Uchiha sat down indignantly. Kakashi Hatake also narrowed his eyes at Xuan Ye. Looking at Obito Uchiha, who was glaring intensely at Xuan Ye, Xuan Ye said, "Hmph, I like calling you that. So what? Come hit me, then. If you dare hit me, I'll tell Father and have him teach you a lesson. Besides, Sister Rin Nohara will definitely protect me too. If you've got the guts, go ahead and do it."

After saying that, Xuan Ye curled his lips into a faint smile and looked at Obito Uchiha, who was sitting beside him in anger. Yet as soon as Obito Uchiha heard Xuan Ye's words, he immediately deflated, with none of his earlier anger remaining.

After Xuan Ye finished speaking, Rin Nohara also stared intently at Obito Uchiha, warning him with her eyes. Obito Uchiha looked at Rin Nohara beside him, then thought of his teacher, Minato Namikaze. He immediately lost his nerve and slumped limply into his chair without saying a word.

Before long, while the four of them chatted, the Ichiraku Ramen was served on their table. There were four bowls in total, and each bowl of Ichiraku Ramen contained plenty of ingredients. Meat, vegetables, and other things were all indispensable.

The three large bowls belonged to the three of them, while the regular-sized bowl was Xuan Ye's.

After waiting for a while, Xuan Ye eagerly picked up the chopsticks on the table and immediately grabbed several strands of noodles, stuffing them into his mouth.

"Ah, hot! So hot!"

Xuan Ye's words were muffled. He had directly picked up several strands from the freshly served noodles and put them into his mouth without even blowing on them. Still, although the bowl of noodles was very hot, it tasted truly excellent. It could be considered the best noodles Xuan Ye had ever eaten. No wonder so many people liked coming to Ichiraku Ramen for ramen.
