Ninja Tool Shop

The bowl of Ichiraku Ramen before Xuan Ye was quickly devoured bite by bite. After finishing the noodles, he drained every last drop of the remaining broth, leaving nothing in the bowl.

"I'm full, Sister Rin Nohara. I'll be going now." After finishing the ramen, I reached out and rubbed my slightly bloated stomach. That bowl of ramen, along with several squid tentacles, had really filled me up.

"Xiao Ye, go ahead. Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and I still have a mission to do later, so we don't have much time to rest," Rin Nohara said when she saw that Xuan Ye had stood up and was about to leave.

"Uh, I'm leaving then. Sister Rin Nohara, take care of yourself."

Xuan Ye placed the money for the bowl of Ichiraku Ramen on the table. After setting down the money, he walked straight out of the restaurant. I walked farther and farther away, until Xuan Ye could no longer see Ichiraku Ramen, then slowed down.

What I had said about taking care was not a slip of the tongue. Xuan Ye was a transmigrator, so he knew Rin Nohara's fate in the anime Naruto. She would die, though Xuan Ye did not know exactly when.

Moreover, he did not know whether his arrival in this world would cause things that originally would not have happened to occur, or whether the events that should have happened to the three of them would have different outcomes because of his transmigration. However, none of that was something Xuan Ye needed to worry about now. What he needed to do was improve his strength as quickly as possible and to the best of his ability, so that he would have the power to protect himself.

Since Xuan Ye wanted to improve his strength, the most important thing about going out this time was buying some ninja tools and other items and weapons that could help him become stronger.

But Xuan Ye did not know which shop he should go to, because there were quite a few ninja tool shops in Konoha Village. I had never counted exactly how many there were, but there definitely would not be few. If Konoha Village had too few ninja tool shops, what would the ninjas do? If there were too few shops, the ninjas would not even have anywhere to buy ninja tools.

As Xuan Ye walked, he thought about what he should buy at the ninja tool shop and where the shop might be. Since he had rarely paid attention to where ninja tool shops were located whenever he went out, his memories were rather vague.

"But it doesn't matter even if my memory is vague. I refuse to believe I can't find a ninja tool shop after walking around Konoha Village." Before long, I had already gone quite far from Ichiraku Ramen.

Xuan Ye suddenly stopped walking because he saw a ninja tool shop ahead. He raised his head to look at the shop's name, but all he saw were three words: Ninja Tool Shop. That name really had no character at all!

Xuan Ye was momentarily stunned by the utterly unremarkable name. In Konoha Village, the names of many shops were quite distinctive. All sorts of names could be found, and many of them made even me praise them. But this ninja tool shop...

"Forget it, there's no need to fuss over it. At least it's a ninja tool shop, isn't it?"

Xuan Ye walked toward the ninja tool shop he had spotted. Before long, I entered it and looked around. It was not small; judging by its size, it could be considered one of the larger shops in Konoha Village.

Many weapons were casually displayed throughout the shop. Shuriken and kunai were the most common weapons, while swords came second. Swords were probably very popular among ninjas. Besides those two types, the shop also had many Explosive Tags and all sorts of miscellaneous items. Even Xuan Ye could not name those things.

Xuan Ye had basically never seen those items before, so naturally he could not name them. In any case, he would not need them, so whether he could recognize them was unimportant.

The owner's place was in the very center of the shop, where there was a counter. Since the shop's entrance was located in the center, the counter had also been built in the middle of the shop.

The shop owner was a strong, powerfully built middle-aged man with a face full of stubble. When Xuan Ye entered, the owner was lowering his head and spacing out. As a result, even after Xuan Ye had walked in, the owner had not noticed his presence.

This made Xuan Ye feel a little awkward. He had searched for so long to find this shop, then entered the ninja tool shop to buy some ninja tools, yet the owner had not even noticed him and was just spacing out. Xuan Ye truly had not expected this.

Looking at the absurd ninja tool shop owner still spacing out, Xuan Ye's face twitched. He slowly walked over to the owner, took a deep breath, and shouted, "Boss, stop spacing out. I want to buy something."

After shouting that, Xuan Ye felt much better. He stared directly at the owner's expression, and the ninja tool shop owner did not disappoint him—his expression was quite colorful. Startled so badly, he could not even stay seated and fell straight to the floor.

Moreover, the ninja tool shop owner's facial expression changed wildly. Seeing those changes, Xuan Ye was already laughing in his heart, though he did not actually laugh aloud.

The ninja tool shop owner quickly came to his senses, scrambled to his feet, sat back down, and stared straight at Xuan Ye. A trace of apology appeared on his face as he hurriedly said to me, "Sorry, I'm really sorry. I honestly didn't see you when you came in."

Seeing the owner apologize, Xuan Ye readily accepted it. After all, the owner had done nothing to make him angry, so Xuan Ye had not been angry with him in the first place. It was only natural that he quickly accepted the owner's apology.
