• Han Feng brought Maple City and most Black Corner Region factions into the Saint Rain Sect’s alliance after a lucrative auction.
• Lin Ran reached Dou Zun, enrolled Xiao Yi Xian and Qing Lin at Jia Nan Academy, and replaced the academy tower’s Fallen Heart Flame with its juvenile counterpart.
• Lin Ran fused the Golden Emperor Heavenly Burning Flame with the Fallen Heart Flame, creating the Saint Gold Fallen Heart Flame and beginning Sacred Flame training for Lin Xiuya and Liu Qing.

Lin Ran helped Yun Yun establish the Yunlan Empire, defeated Soul Hall forces, and refined an eighth-rank pill while preparing for the Central Continent. The arc ended with Lin Ran tightening control over the Sacred Sect and arranging support between Yunlan Empire and Cai Lin’s Snake People Empire.

• Lin Ran entrusted Yun Yun with developing the Sacred Domain, then fought Mu Gu, Gray Heavenly Venerate, and Star-Picking Old Ghost, killing Gray Heavenly Venerate and driving the others off.
• Lin Ran helped Cai Lin secure support for the Snake-People Tribe’s move into the Black Corner Region, then rescued Xue Mei and sent Zi Yan to Stone Spirit City.
• Yun Yun’s reinforcements defeated Yan Luotian and the Mulan Three Elders at Black Mountain Fortress, and Yun Yun proclaimed the Yunlan Empire after the Jia Ma Imperial Family withdrew.

Lin Ran strengthened his influence across the Central Continent, cultivated at the Heavenly Mountain Blood Pool, and drew Starfall Pavilion and Pill Tower figures into his plans. He returned to the Cloud Rain Sect for his master's birthday, only to discover that the Scorpion Demon Three Ghosts had raised him to exploit his Pure Yang Physique.

• Lin Ran opened the Saint Flame Body Refining Rooms, coordinated Yun Yun and Cai Lin's empires with the Saint Rain Sect, and left for the Central Continent.
• After reaching the Cloud Rain Sect, Lin Ran cultivated in the Heavenly Mountain Blood Pool, advanced to peak Three-Star Dou Zun, and gave Jin Shi and Jin Gu a seed flame to cleanse their clan's fire poison.

After the Scorpion Demon Three Ghosts nearly drained Lin Ran’s power, he recovered, strengthened his allies, and defeated Soul Hall attackers with help from Yao Chen. He expanded the Black Corner Region’s connections while Xun Er warned that her clan might confront him.

• Heavenly Scorpion, Earth Scorpion, and Human Scorpion drained Lin Ran’s Pure Yang power until Gu Yuan’s safeguard broke their seal and carried him away.
• Xun Er and the others stabilized Lin Ran with Heavenly Flames, medicinal treasures, and Zi Yan’s essence blood as the Scorpion Demon Three Ghosts branded him a traitor.
• After two years unconscious, Lin Ran awakened, reunited with Zi Yan, and refined a Heavenly Spirit Dragon Blood Pill that triggered her evolution.
