"Mask its aura? You can hide the existence of The One Ring?" Roland froze. After all that, you had a way? Then who were you putting on that helpless act for?

"Hide its existence? A Divine Seat is not something I can hide. It is merely a concrete manifestation of a Divine Seat. As a god, how could I possibly hide the existence of such a rule?" Tom Bombadil shook his head.

"My power comes from Fangorn Forest. The Shire was once part of Fangorn Forest. I merely masked The One Ring's aura in passing! After all, no one likes watching those blasphemous Nazgûl burn, kill, and loot in their own home, do they?" Tom Bombadil scratched his head. Making a small move to conceal something within the former bounds of his own Divine Kingdom was not a big problem, right?

"Don't overthink it. I just hate trouble!" Tom Bombadil shook his head. As if he knew what Roland was about to say, he flatly rejected him before he could even open his mouth.

"Fine!" Seeing this, Roland put those thoughts to rest as well. After all, from the look of things, Tom Bombadil truly was unwilling to help fight.

"Come on. We've talked for so long that you must be tired. Drop by my little house on the way!" Tom Bombadil invited him warmly.

"Then I'll impose on you!" Roland naturally was not willing to miss a chance to raise favorability. After all, this man was, at the very least, a true god of Middle-earth. Maxing out his favorability would let him take off straight away! Though he would not actively help deal with Sauron, he was still a fallback option. After all, Roland understood the logic that one more friend meant one more path!
