"By the Dragon God!" Even through the tent, Roland and Valfay heard Reno's cry of alarm.

"Your Highness! You need to see this!" Reno lifted the tent flap and stepped aside.

"What is it? My god!" Valfay poked his head out in confusion, then his face immediately drained of color. The once-spacious street was now packed with Swift River Infantry clad in azure chainmail, wearing barrel helmets, bracing five-meter anti-cavalry pikes, carrying tower shields, and bearing spiked maces at their waists.

"Who are they? When did they get here?" Valfay turned to Reno.

"They are Lagrange's most glorious infantry! The Swift River Infantry Legion! They have just arrived to reinforce the royal party!" Reno said proudly as he looked at the Lagrange Dragon emblems on the infantrymen's chests.

"Your people? I couldn't tell!" Valfay stared at the seemingly endless ranks of Swift River Infantry. There had to be over a thousand of them!

"Didn't we have no reinforcements?" Valfay turned to Roland in confusion.

"We shouldn't have any, but accidents can't be ruled out. Like this one." Roland shrugged. He had no idea how to explain it to Valfay.

"So our chances of winning just got a little better?" Valfay said happily.

"Tell me honestly, are there any more reinforcements?" Valfay eyed Roland sidelong, his face brimming with an excited grin.

"I don't know. Our people are scattered across the continent, wandering. I can't contact them, and not everyone can make it here." Roland shook his head. He did not have the money for another wave of troop replenishment like this.

"Honored King! Your loyal servant Lance requests an audience!" Suddenly, one distinctly different Swift River Infantryman stepped forward.
