"Right, you need to procure supplies! You can't start developing land with nothing! That place is deserted—there won't be any merchant caravans selling you things!" Lance nodded as he spoke to Ismir.

"So I plan to spend all these Gold Coins! You know..." Ismir shrugged with a smile.

"But you should still keep some Gold Coins in reserve. Based on the place you chose, you can cross the river and go to Lulong Fortress to buy some food and such!" Lance reminded him. Although Lulong Fortress was a military stronghold without shops, Ismir was still a noble of the kingdom. Its commander, Reno, would give him that much face.

"That makes sense!" Ismir counted out one hundred Gold Coins, carefully wrapped them in cloth, and tucked them into his chest.

"Come on! Let's load up your wagons first!" Lance shook his head. The supplies Roland had generously provided were no small amount either.

"Do you want to ride a horse?" Lance asked Ismir while picking out warhorses for him in the stable.

"No, I'll just walk with them!" Ismir shook his head. He did not know how to ride a horse...

"Considering that you'll be living on the edge of the forest from now on, I took the liberty of replacing the Shire Horses with Rhûn Horses! Shire Horses are tall, enduring, and suited for knights on long-distance charges, so they aren't ideal for you. Rhûn Horses have more balanced endurance and explosive power, making them better for your needs!" Lance explained.

"Thank you, Baron Lance!" Ismir said gratefully. It truly was thoughtful of Lance to consider such small details!

"You're welcome! I've prepared ten wagons for you. Consider them my sponsorship—I won't charge you for them!" As he spoke, Lance patted the brand-new wagon before them. The fresh-cut
