"Up! Up!" At the officers' urging, the bewildered Gondor soldiers and militiamen were dragged out of their beds. They shivered helplessly in the autumn wind, utterly at a loss.

"What time do you think it is? Why are you still sleeping? No training?" The Knights acting as instructors were just as bewildered. They had waited at the training grounds all morning without seeing anyone and, fearing something had happened, rushed to inspect the camp. What they found nearly made their lungs explode. These Gondorians were sprawled across their beds, snoring like thunder, nearly sending the Knights straight to an early grave.

"Today is a rest day, isn't it?" Arseff calculated the date and muttered.

"What rest days do soldiers get? With them looking like that, how could you have the nerve to sleep?" The knight dragging the Gondor soldiers out demanded sourly. Arseff looked at his fellow soldiers standing crookedly and unevenly, then fell silent.

"Their foundation is truly terrible!" Maple Forest Youlan complained to Roland.

"There's no helping it. You have to accept these Gondor farmers who had sheathed their blades and released their horses to graze... after all, they had enjoyed peace for far too long!" Roland shrugged. He had nothing to say about Gondor's performance. Brave and battle-hardened were probably no longer words that could be associated with present-day Gondor. Decadent nobles were dragging the country into the abyss!
