After Loki entered the portal, she felt nothing unusual. There was only a flash of light before her eyes, and within two seconds, the environment in front of her had completely changed.
As she stepped out of the portal, Loki first felt her surroundings suddenly brighten. Once her eyes adjusted to the light, she found herself in a grand and spacious hall.
The entire hall was circular. Not only was it enormous, but it was so tall that its ceiling could not be seen. Most eye-catching of all was the huge statue standing in the center of the circular hall.
Squinting up at it, Loki saw that the statue had been carved from smooth, hard stone. It depicted a majestic man with short hair, dressed in a somewhat unusual uniform with a long cloak over it. One hand rested on the sword at his waist, while the other arm stretched diagonally upward.
Looking at the statue's pose, Loki slowly narrowed her eyes. At that moment, Helen jumped down from Loki's body, took her hand, and walked forward with her.
B-15 walked at the front, while her subordinates surrounded Loki and Helen. When they reached the statue, B-15 led them around the right side of the circular hall. As they crossed the hall, Loki kept turning her head to observe the uniformed employees moving back and forth.
The employees were all humanoid, but their skin colors varied greatly. There were not only white, yellow, and black-skinned people, but blue-skinned and green-skinned ones as well. There were even Transparent Men with no skin at all. Their appearances were equally bizarre; not all of them had two eyes, one nose, and one mouth.
