Loki switched to a different changing room and clung tightly to Helen, giving her no chance to have another snack. After they had changed, Loki even put a collar on her.

On the way to the courtroom, Loki kept turning her head to inspect their surroundings. She noticed statues lining both sides of the corridor, identical to the statue of the man she had seen in the lobby earlier. They all wore strange uniforms and made strange gestures.

"Oh!" Loki suddenly cried out. Instantly, Mobius and B-15, who were walking ahead, assumed defensive stances. But when they turned around, they found Loki unharmed, merely clutching her neck.

"What's wrong?" Mobius slowed by two steps. Loki glared at Helen twice before saying to him, "I'm fine. My daughter might be a little hungry. Could you find her something to eat later?"

"Uh, what does she eat? Human food? I have snacks on my desk. I'll bring her some later." Mobius seemed quite fond of children. He made all sorts of shapes with his hands, making Helen giggle.

The group entered a spacious courtroom. It was not all that different from the courtrooms Loki had seen on Earth: dim and heavy lighting, with a solemn and imposing atmosphere.

But Loki did not feel nervous. When she had worked at the Sanctum Sanctorum, the employees there had loved boasting during their spare time about how they had toyed with judges and lawyers who did not even understand basic mathematics. On average, each of them went to court more than a dozen times a year, and some had even hooked up with judges.

Thinking of judges, Loki looked up at the woman standing at the chief judge's bench. She had chestnut-colored skin and slightly curly black hair, and appeared to be brown-skinned.
