Conqueror Kang reappeared at the cell door, carrying several bags of small gifts and looking down at his outfit in bewilderment.

He looked exactly like a casual shopper visiting luxury stores at the end of the year—he had heard a basketful of sweet talk, seen enough Sales smiles to make him sick, collected heaps of trial packs and samples, yet failed to order a single seasonal bestseller or next season's new release.

Just now, Conqueror Kang had entered the building that his future self had emerged from, only to hear a sweet but slightly perfunctory voice say, "Welcome to the Sanctum Sanctorum."

Then, a terrifying wave of noise washed over him, drowning him in a bustling chorus of, "Hello, what can I help you with?", "Hello, do you have an appointment?", "Hello, do you know any Sales staff?", and "Hello, would you like to sign up for membership?"

For the next few minutes, Conqueror Kang had no idea what happened to him. By the time he reappeared, he was smiling, and his pockets were empty.

This future was far too bizarre. After thinking it over, Conqueror Kang decided to destroy this universe's timeline instead.
