After the portal stopped opening, the Lokis assumed this outsider had been sent by the Time Variance Authority to meet them. On top of that, the old Loki leading the group ran after him, so the other Lokis all followed in a rush.
As they ran, they discovered that a magnificent temple had truly appeared before them.
After all the Lokis rushed into the temple, the black-and-red-clad freak slammed on the brakes, pointed at a hole in the floor, and said, "Jump in, and you'll be safe!"
The Lokis all looked suspicious. When they turned around, they found that Elios had been blocked outside the temple doors, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
But the next second, an even larger monster's head thrust itself inside. The terrifying creature, covered in spikes and filled with razor-sharp teeth, roared, "I'm going to eat all of you!!!"
In terms of appearance alone, this monster was far more frightening than Elios. Compared to it, Elios, formed from dark clouds, looked like a soft, fluffy marshmallow.
It would have been one thing if the monster merely looked terrifying, but it also radiated a dreadful dark aura, making it feel as though even the stars of the universe would be devoured by it.
The Lokis in the temple began panicking again. Seeing that the monster was about to squeeze through the temple entrance, President Loki gritted his teeth, stomped his foot, and jumped into the hole in the floor.
The other Lokis jumped in after him, one after another. Once they were gone, the massive monster opened its jaws and bit Elios more than six hundred times within two minutes, until it swallowed him whole.
