An upbeat jazz tune played on an old record player. Before a display case, Schiller was using a piece of chamois leather to polish a Crystal sculpture.

Though he was only cleaning it, his expression was intensely focused. Every so often, he stretched out his arm to hold the sculpture farther away and admire it with great seriousness. Accompanied by the gentle melody, he looked as though he were dancing with an invisible partner.

"Schiller looks very relaxed." Hal frowned. "Even more relaxed than when he was vacationing in Seaside City. Could Seaside City's blazing sunshine really be worse than Gotham's rain?"

"You can't expect everyone to adapt to sunlight." Bruce spoke expressionlessly. "Every day being bright and sunny and every day being rainy are no different in essence."

"Come on." Clark clearly disagreed. "Humans are creatures of sunlight. The sun gives us energy."

"That's just you." Bruce turned to look at him.

"I don't really get him either. Batman in this world is hard enough to deal with. If I ran into him, I'd stay as far away as possible." Constantine coughed softly twice. "But Schiller seems to be enjoying himself. Haven't you noticed? He's enjoying all of this."

"There does seem to be a difference." Clark lightly stroked his chin. "When he left Gotham before, his mental state was awful. Bruce was too. After staying at my place for a while, Bruce got much better, but Professor Schiller seemed to grow more and more exhausted."

"Even though it's only been a few days, I still think Schiller's mental state is much better than it was in our universe." Clark shrugged and stated an obvious truth. "He has more energy."

"Maybe it's some kind of chemical reaction between mental patients." Lucifer's voice drifted over.
