Schiller had no reaction when he saw the little girl's face, but when he heard her name, he froze for a moment.
If he remembered correctly, in Greed's memories, Quill and Rocket Raccoon had told him that they had brought a little girl out of the dream universe where all humans had mutated, then settled her in Kamar-Taj.
That was not particularly strange. Though it was a dream universe, the Marvel Universe was fundamentally built from endless thoughts forming endless universes. The universes formed by Azathoth's dreams were real as well, so bringing people out of them was only natural.
Schiller began carefully reviewing that memory, and then recalled that after he had led The Ancient One to that universe, she had taken pity on the little girl and saved her. But unfortunately, the spell she used to put the girl to sleep had allowed a mad nightmare to invade her, causing her mutation. It had also broken through The Ancient One's own emotional defenses, forcing her to remain in that universe.
It was not until Quill and Rocket Raccoon had declared that universe to be a dream that The Ancient One and Scarlet Witch Wanda had glimpsed a fragment of the great being behind the dream universe.
Yet Schiller sensed that something about this story was wrong.
The little girl Jennifer stood outside the dormitory door, holding her wand with both hands before her chest. She seemed somewhat detached from the situation. She nodded to Barry and said, "I delivered the things. I'll be going now."
"Wait a moment." Little Bruce put down his book and quickly walked to the door. How could he give up an opportunity to learn about this universe from one of its natives?
"What time do the lights generally go out here?" Little Bruce
