"It's an illusion! An illusion! Stay calm! They might have a mage—they've cast an illusion on us!!" Lashina roared, looking around wildly. "This is Apokolips's spaceport! It doesn't rain here, and there are no other celestial bodies nearby! Calm down! Have you forgotten your promise to Lord Darkseid?!"

She herself had not noticed the panic in her voice.

Lashina suddenly looked up. The boy in the opposing group had his head lowered, his face hidden in shadow, but his lips were constantly moving.

Anger rose in Lashina's heart. She believed Little Bruce had to be chanting a spell capable of creating illusions. She had to teach him a lesson.
