In the temporary observation base in New Mexico, Thor's massive body was crammed into a tiny interrogation chair, looking utterly out of place. His eyes, however, remained fixed on the hammer lying on the table across from him.
"I..." Thor swallowed and shook his head. "I was furious when I heard what happened to Jane. I came to help her get her files back, but I didn't mean to cause this much destruction."

Thor seemed deeply ashamed to admit that he could feel pain. He punched the table and said, "Or maybe Earth's environment is different from Asgard's, and I'm not acclimatized."
Natasha, one hand resting on the hammer's handle, looked at Thor and asked, "You said your heart hurt. Did you go to a hospital for an examination?"
"I don't know what a hospital is. Stop bothering me with your human nonsense." Thor appeared somewhat irritable. He looked around and said, "I think I saw Loki just now. Don't tell me this is another one of his pranks?"
"Who is Loki?" Natasha asked, though she already knew.
"He's my brother. He especially likes pulling pranks." Thor pressed his lips together, but soon looked puzzled again. "But he wouldn't really hurt me.
