Clark and Diana, who had been sitting down, were both startled by his sudden movement. Bat-Cat, which had been quietly crouched on Clark's shoulder, arched its body in fright.

"We're back." Pamela stepped out from behind Lex and waved at Diana. "We ran into a little trouble, so we got delayed."

Diana immediately frowned and looked seriously at Pamela. "A little trouble, even for the two of you? I told you not to risk challenging the Courage Game. You should have waited for Clark and me to return, then let us take you."

"The problem wasn't courage. The problem was that this game wasn't testing courage at all." Pamela let out a deep sigh. "Is there anything to eat? I'm starving."

"Don't mention Batman." Pamela covered her forehead, sounding utterly helpless. "You have no idea how unlucky we were. We ran into another-universe you, and he spent the entire time going on about Batman. Lex and I were about to lose our minds."

Batman had recovered by then. He noticed that this Lex Luthor was remarkably young, and when he saw Pamela's face clearly, he realized she seemed to be Poison Ivy from his universe.
