Overlord Superman was a little stunned.

Because Bruce was angry.

Of course, it wasn't that Batman never got angry. It was just that Batman had a very peculiar way of conveying emotions. Under normal circumstances, no one could tell whether he was angry or happy, because he always wore the same stern expression.

But Bruce's emotions were extremely obvious. He threw away what he was holding, turned around, and headed back to the city without saying a word to Overlord Superman following behind him.

Only when he saw Wonder Woman did he finally shout, "I've had enough! Why couldn't you keep him here? Why did he run over to my place and keep staring at me? He scared off all my fish!"

"I just wanted to see if you were in danger..."

"You know perfectly well you weren't worried about me." Bruce turned back and glared furiously at Overlord Superman. "Were you disappointed that there weren't any criminal fish in the lake? Or were you actually hoping to see a criminal, like me?"

"I never—"

"You know whether you did or not! The moment we met in the screening room, you'd already exposed what you really thought. You think I'm an ignorant bastard, don't you?"

Bruce walked up to Overlord Superman, stared straight into his eyes as they began to flicker red, and said, "I know you killed every criminal on Earth, Clark. You'd better kill me quickly, then. Otherwise, I'll definitely go kill something for you to see. How else am I supposed to prove how farsighted you are?!"

"And I'm only worried that even if I get thrown in prison, someone will still come flying eagerly to my window to ask me which style of pacifier he should choose today!"

Overlord Superman was stunned by the scolding again.
