Gotham was not only a giant mental hospital; it was also a giant haunted house. No Gothamite needed to visit a haunted-house attraction anywhere else, because it was bound to be a disappointing experience.

As a Kryptonian, Clark was not very comfortable anywhere without sunlight. The moment he entered the haunted house, he felt uneasy. The deeper the track car traveled and the darker it became, the more he sank into that deep, gloomy atmosphere.

As a demigoddess, Diana truly was not afraid of ghosts, but she found the mechanically made ghost props, elaborately arranged scenes, and flickering lights in the Haunted Mansion quite interesting.

Bruce, meanwhile, was feeling rather bored.

First of all, Gothamites were extremely accustomed to anywhere with dim lighting. After all, before the sun rose in Gotham, the ultraviolet index was probably only half that of other cities.

Even walking down the street at noon sometimes felt gloomy and dark, never mind dawn and dusk. Bruce's eyes had therefore almost immediately adjusted to the dim lighting inside the Haunted Mansion.

As for the exquisitely decorated sets, Bruce could only say they were lacking somewhat. Many pieces of furniture in Wayne Manor had been brought over by the first European nobles to settle in America. They were genuinely ancient.

Wayne Manor was also enormous, and Alfred had to look after Bruce as well. Either he hired people to clean it or cleaned it himself section by section, so some areas were inevitably overlooked.
