Selene set down the phone somewhat helplessly and turned to look at Bruce, who was leaning over the back of a chair beside her.

Bruce snapped his fingers, closed his eyes, and said, "I don't even need to look to know Pamela definitely went to Rodriguez Manor early."

Bruce sighed deeply, raised his eyes to Selene, and said, "You can't possibly imagine how crazy a woman driven by lust, a complete fiend for beauty, can be."

Bruce rested his chin on Selene's shoulder and leaned close to her neck. "Have you never felt there was anything special about me?"

"Special? What kind of special? Does being especially high-maintenance count, Young Master?"

Bruce laughed in a low voice, his arm circling Selene's waist. "Pamela has ideas about both of us... Don't be hasty. Put your claws away and listen first."
