She was not truly so interested in the gardens of Rodriguez Manor. She merely wanted to keep Pamela occupied.

As everyone knew, flirting and ambiguous entanglements were adult games. The main reason laws and morals restricted immature teenagers from doing such things was that, once they acted on impulse, matters would inevitably develop far more disastrously than they would for adults.
Hot-blooded teenagers did not care about laws, morality, or even the bounds of human relations. They did whatever they wanted, went crazy whenever the urge struck, and vented whenever they were angry. They were the most unstable kind of oversized time bomb.
So although Natasha was worried about Strange, Loki, and herself, they were adults after all. Even if something happened, it would be no worse than the last time between her and Schiller—at most, the two of them would perish together.
But if Pamela really made a move, things would not be so simple. This beautiful girl whose mind was overheating clearly possessed tremendous power. If Schiller wanted to put her on the chopping block, the commotion they caused might level the entire street, or even the whole city.
Natasha therefore keenly realized that her most important task at the moment was to keep Pamela occupied one-on-one.
