The deeper Batman explored, the more certain he became that Constantine's suspicion was correct. Though the paths all appeared to stretch straight ahead, it was like a dungeon maze game: the protagonist's field of view was always limited to what lay ahead, while everything else was swallowed by dense darkness. Determining direction was practically impossible.

If they kept going like this, the inevitable result would be exhaustion, thirst, hunger, and finally collapsing somewhere in the maze.

Constantine let out a soft sigh. "If I could still use magic, I could take you through the spirit world. It isn't hindered by reality, so perhaps we could find a way out."

But Strange was somewhat dismissive. "Don't you know that those so-called worlds within worlds are even more clearly affected by power than the real world? If this Dark Force truly is the law-level power you described, then falling into the spirit world would be suicide."

Constantine did not argue with him, because he could not deny that possibility. Diana, however, said with some concern, "Then shouldn't we have been more cautious before coming down here?"

"Don't worry." Constantine looked at Bruce.

Bruce stepped forward, and in an instant, a brilliant radiance burst before their eyes, almost too bright to keep them open. The power of light filled the entire space and immediately drove away all darkness.

Without the omnipresent Dark Force, this place became an ordinary maze. Combined with Clark's super strength, they cut through it like a hot knife through butter and reached the center of the maze.
