Under the physical assault of the two Batmen, Constantine quickly came to. But like the male versions of her from other universes, she was not much better after waking up. Most of her restored sanity was spent staring intensely at the male and female Batmen and appreciating them aesthetically for purely artistic reasons.
It was not until Batwoman slammed her fist down on the table that Constantine snapped out of it. Wiping the drool from the corner of her mouth, she said, "Sorry, but those uniforms of yours are really... irresistible to both men and women."
"Get to the point." Batwoman's killing intent was practically spilling out of her eyes.
"Oh, oh, Dr. Sohip, right? I've heard some rumors about him, but don't expect him to be some ordinary professor. There isn't a single pushover in the College of All Souls."
"What exactly is that place?"
"Put simply, it's the highest research institute in the occult world. In terms ordinary people can understand, it's probably like an honors institute at the best university. They don't admit regular students. Basically, only scholars who are already famous and genuinely capable can join."
"So what exactly can this mysterious Dr. Sohip do?"
"I don't know the specifics. I don't get along with that bunch of pure theorists, you know? I'm self-taught." Constantine shrugged, lowered her head to light a cigarette, and after taking a puff, said with some emotion, "I haven't been back to Britain in a long time. I don't know what things are like there now, but it's probably about as close to collapsing as this universe."
The two Batmen exchanged a glance. Batwoman was about to raise her fist again, but Batman stopped her. He called the bartender out from behind the counter and said, "Get her a tequila. It's
