Hal chased after Batman and asked, but Batman did not answer. He merely said, "Stick to the original plan. Clark will keep Atlan occupied, while we make some noise in the sea and let the Sea Queen realize that her real enemy isn't on land."
Hal did not press further. He nodded and used Green Lantern energy to carry Batman to the place where they had encountered the Atlanteans before. They knew it was not far from Atlantis's main city.
Soon, that familiar enormous city appeared before them again. Hal quickly located the palace. At its peak stood a massive Energy Hub, apparently used to power the entire city.
Batman began searching for traces of energy conduits near the Energy Hub. The two followed the conduits into the Energy Hub's core chamber.
"I originally planned to destroy some of the conduits supplying power to the palace, but it looks like this place has a mature alarm system. Find a way to trigger it."
Hal thought for a moment. He wanted to punch the ceiling, but there might have been important pipelines there. The screens that looked like they were made of Crystal or glass were too easy to shatter. In the end, he punched one of the consoles covered in mysterious writing.
With a bang, fragments flew everywhere. Sparks burst from the crater, and a piercing alarm rang through the room. The lights flickered constantly. Noisy voices came from outside, but they were not particularly loud.
Just as they had expected, most of the palace guard had been deployed to the front lines. Atlantis was now poorly defended, and the Sea Queen should have understood that better than anyone.
