Joker tilted his head up at the room before him. No matter how he looked at it, whether by modern standards or classical ones, this place should not have been called a hospital ward. Presidential Suite would have been more appropriate.
So Bruce Wayne had spent all this time turning the place into a hotel, Joker thought, and said as much. "Just how badly does Wayne need to ease his guilty conscience this way?"
"Sorry, sir, but I believe I reminded you that this hospital has a rather comprehensive surveillance and security system. If you make any overly inflammatory remarks, the footage may be used as evidence in a defamation suit."
Joker threw himself onto the sofa and stared at the nurse's face for quite a while before asking, "Do you only have one expression?"

"Fine, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep for a while." Joker waved a hand, intending to dismiss the nurse, but he knew that asylum nurses would not let him off so easily. They usually made sure he had taken his medication and was truly asleep before leaving.
