"This guy had to be insane." Helen's face scrunched up as she said, "He injected himself with an ultra-high concentration of the Doomsday Virus, a concentration even Doomsday himself didn't have. I have no idea how he refined it."
"What's even more outrageous is that Doomsday Spores are highly likely to kill humans, so I usually reduce the concentration again and again. Ideally, each spore carries only a single dose of the virus. Even then, it can easily drive people mad."
"But he... he injected high-concentration Doomsday Virus into his own bloodstream. Not only was he still alive, but he seemed to have gained some of Doomsday's power. My God..."
While Helen was marveling, Doomsday Batman had already pinned Superman to the ground. Strange, however, noticed something was wrong. "Why does that guy in the red-and-blue suit seem a little weak?"
"That's Superman." Helen frowned as well. "If I remember correctly, Superman's weakness is... God, he couldn't have mixed Kryptonite into the virus, could he???"
"Just what I'd expect from Batman." Helen was at a loss for words. She sighed and said, "If I injected a dose of that virus into myself, I'd get gastroenteritis."
"Don't just stand there watching. Hurry up and stop them. If they keep fighting, the whole city will be destroyed."
Superman had already been seized by the throat by Doomsday Batman. The instant his hand touched Doomsday Batman's arm, it went limp, leaving him barely able to put up any meaningful resistance.
