With a whoosh, Strange reappeared at the Radiance Alliance base. He had clearly just finished warning Nick, but his expression was grim when he returned.

"Something is in the Time Stream," Strange said. "Nick just detected it and is organizing Time Variance Authority personnel to capture it, but the thing is very strange."

"What kind of strange?" Stark had not realized the severity of the situation. "Is it another so-called time criminal?"

"Not at all," Strange said. "It isn't a carbon-based life-form like us. It isn't even Intelligent Life. It looks more like some bizarre construct of rules, which is the main reason Nick has been trying to catch it for so long without success."

The room fell silent. Everyone stared at Strange, and Stark sat up straight. "Is this thing dangerous?"

"It threatens all time travelers," Strange said. "It seems that once someone travels through the Time Stream at a sufficiently high speed and frequency, it appears behind them and kills them."

Professor X's eyes widened slightly. "You mean it is something like a natural disaster? Something that punishes users of a certain ability?"

"That's what Nick said." Strange looked up at the screen. A battle had already erupted in Paris. The Spider-Men were fighting that enormous spider, and dust filled the sky as the world seemed to darken around them.

"Can Nick catch it?" Before Stark had even finished speaking, Strange's expression told him the answer was probably no.

"Nick himself is not a user of time-based abilities, and those Time Variance Authority employees only travel through time using machines. They can see the monster, but they cannot touch it."

"What about Kang?" Loki asked. "Now that all timelines have returned to the Sacred Timeline, Kang should have become a true user of time-based abilities."
