The Iceberg Lounge was indeed still open at this hour, and even its owner, Penguin, had not gotten off work yet. He was not surprised to see Batman. After all, Batman came by several times every month to inspect practically everything except legitimate issues like taxes and sanitation.

But the three people he had brought with him this time were rather strange. One looked like a miniature version of himself, while the other two looked grim and burdened by hatred. The fierce-looking one seemed ready to trash the place at any moment.

Well, looks like business has come knocking, Penguin thought. Still, considering he had skipped the welcome ceremony that day, it was understandable for Batman to come looking for trouble. He decided to ignore the lot of them, finish checking today's revenue, and leave.

Who would have thought Batman did not seem particularly interested in the three people he had brought either? The three sat down on the right side of the bar, while Batman went to the left.

Leaning against the bar, Penguin said, "Looks like you want to talk. What is it?"

Batman glanced up at him. He actually had nothing to talk about with Penguin. With other criminals, Batman might have thrown a few sarcastic remarks their way, but Penguin was an exception. What was the difference between talking to Penguin and reading a real estate investment report?

So Batman remained silent, staring at the clock on the bar. But its face happened to be decorated with a cat. After a moment of silence, Batman finally said, "Do you know Catwoman?"

"That thief?" Holding a wineglass, Penguin said, "She is a little girl from the lower district, and she is pretty capable. She specializes in stealing rich people's jewelry, but she does not sell it afterward.
