Robin King was practically unable to defend himself. It was true that he had wanted to invade Batman's mind, but first, this was not the Batman he had intended to invade, and second, he had no idea how he had ended up here.

The young Batman across from him looked him up and down, as though trying to discern something from him. But soon, he seemed to have an epiphany. "Oh, I get it. You're here to apply, right? You deliberately avoided the front door to improve your chances and give me a surprise? Very good. You succeeded."

"I'm not here to... apply? Apply for what? Are you a president too?" Robin King asked Bruce in confusion.

"Other than that, I can't think of any reason you'd come looking for me."

"It wasn't me who wanted to come looking for you!"

Bruce bent down and began rummaging through the mountain of garbage papers, eventually pulling out a sheet and handing it to Robin King.

Robin King blinked. After taking the paper and glancing at it, he found it was a wildly messy poster, with brightly colored graffiti lettering proclaiming, "Multiverse Bat-Family Recruitment Plan Now Open!" and "Join us! Embark on a thrilling Multiverse adventure!"

"Multiverse Bat-Family..." Robin King softly repeated the name. His eyes shifted slightly, and he immediately changed his attitude. "Ah, I'm quite interested in this plan. Could you tell me more about it?"

"It means exactly what it says." Bruce stepped over the clutter on the floor and walked forward. "We are now inviting talented individuals to join Barbatos's great Dark Plan, help the Dark God rule the entire Multiverse, and take part in the grand enterprise of his Dark Zone."
