After receiving this news, Schiller hurried into the bathroom of his own room. He had known the toilet was broken, but he had not had time to fix it. However, Peter had found an Alarm Clock in the toilet tank of Room 1903, which meant the toilet had most likely not broken by accident.

Schiller pried open the connection on the toilet tank lid with a small knife. After removing the lid, he found nothing unusual inside the tank. Then he returned to the bedroom, retrieved the Alarm Clock, and hesitated over whether to throw it in.

There were two possibilities if he threw it in now. Either the toilet truly contained a Supernatural Phenomenon, and the alarm would go off immediately, very likely drawing over that unknown monster that came with the ringing sound; or there was nothing wrong with the toilet at all, and the problem lay with the Alarm Clock. If it was thrown in and simply did not ring, then Schiller's room would make no sound tonight.

The resident of Room 1903 had said that the elevator-like sound was similar to a dorm supervisor checking rooms. Only when the Alarm Clock in your room rang did it mean someone was inside, preventing any Supernatural Phenomenon from occurring.

So if Schiller threw the Alarm Clock into the tank and it failed to ring tonight, and if what the short man had said was true, then perhaps that strange monster would enter, or some other Supernatural Phenomenon would appear in the room.

As Schiller was thinking, Peter suddenly sent him a message. He said, "I heard something. That guy may have come back."

"Hide," Schiller said. "Go to the bedroom and get into the closet. He can't possibly have gone out only once today. He'll definitely go eat
