Gordon became somewhat dazed again. Schiller kept calling his name, gradually pulling some of his sanity back. Schiller told Gordon his theory, but concealed the part concerning Peter.

Gordon had no choice but to swallow and begin. "This is what I've figured out over the past few days. I discovered that every night at midnight, something comes out of the elevator. But it doesn't just come to the nineteenth floor. It goes to other floors too."
