Jason was more open-minded about this sort of thing. He tugged on Dick and said, "The sun in mysticism isn't the same as the one we see. Don't get too hung up on it."

"Then where is the gate you mentioned?"

Faust shook his head. "I'm not entirely sure of its exact location, but it must be related to the sun. It should be somewhere tied to sunrise or sunset in the mystical sense..."

Dick's train of thought was completely different. He said, "Couldn't we just go find the sun directly?"

"What?"

"I mean, go into space and wait beside the sun. See if a chariot comes to pick him up."

The suggestion clearly left Faust dumbfounded. The world as archmages saw it was entirely different from that of modern people, and space was unfamiliar territory to them.

"We can give it a try," Jason said. "Even if the mystical sun isn't exactly the same as the real one, there has to be some connection. Maybe we really can catch the Sun God there."

"That's absurd," Faust commented.

But the others ignored him, thinking their own reasoning made more sense. Dick added, "The Justice League is short-handed right now. We can head straight to Mercury and help them keep watch as well."

After searching Mount Olympus again and finding nothing, they returned the way they had come. Fortunately, the Gate of the Underworld had not closed, and they made it back to Earth without trouble.

Also worth mentioning was that, after Aisha threw a fit, Raven and Funa worked together to drag Ares and Hades's bodies back. If they could be revived later, great. If not, they could still serve as chew toys for Aisha. Nothing went to waste.
