In Mercury Base's office, the argument continued. Oliver and Bruce had reached a serious disagreement.
"No, Oliver. We don't have enough evidence. Based on the clues we currently know, there's no way to prove that Miss Cain is the killer," Bruce said, hands on his hips.
"I never said she was definitely the killer, but under these circumstances, I think it would be better to restrict her movements first. Then, if there are any more attacks later, her suspicion can be cleared. Isn't that a good thing?"

Oliver looked somewhat helpless. He continued trying to persuade them, but Bruce and Clark firmly refused. Cassandra, as though she couldn't speak, merely listened quietly from the side without voicing any opinion at all.
Jena was also arguing strongly on Cassandra's behalf. Oliver was currently outnumbered, until Diana joined the fray as well.
"I have to admit that Miss Cain is indeed the most suspicious person at the moment, but the evidence truly isn't enough to prove that she's the killer. So why not find an excuse to send her back to Earth? We can tell the students she has something to deal with there. That way, if she's innocent, they won't turn against her."
After she said that, the room fell
