Stark first sent several suits of armor over, then went himself. After the group fussed around for quite a while, they finally moved all the equipment into the room Schiller had prepared.
Looking at the room full of strange-looking machines, Stark could not help sighing. But considering that he still needed Beast's help, he went to great lengths to swallow the words he wanted to say.
Beast, covered in blue fur, was much more easygoing about it. He smiled, adjusted his glasses, and said, "I don't have conditions as favorable as yours. It was only in recent years that I had the funding to acquire these machines."
"Wait, you only got them in recent years? Have they been tested?" Stark felt increasingly uneasy.
"You can rest assured about that. Quite a few pregnant women have undergone examinations here. I've recently been working on commercializing it."
"You mean these machines can be commercialized?" Stark frowned again. "You just said this thing can detect whether a fetus has the X-gene. If every hospital had one, then you Mutants would..."
The others also looked at Beast with some confusion. Beast was not surprised by their reaction at all. Instead, he said, "You think that if a pregnant woman finds out her fetus has the X-gene, she'll abort it, leaving Mutants with no future generation?"
He shook his head. "Don't forget, while ninety percent of Mutants aren't that powerful, there's still the other ten percent."
"Your machine can determine the class of a Mutant fetus?" Steve's eyes widened.
Beast shook his head again. "With Beta-class as the dividing line, it can only tell whether it is Beta-class or above, or below Beta-class."
"That's enough!" Steve said in delighted surprise. "Most Beta-class Mutants and above don't have their daily lives affected, right?"
"Yes, and Beta-class
