After hearing that name, Dr. Beast frowned slightly. He shook his head and said, "That's not a good choice. I admit that Essex has some talent, but he lacks even the most basic respect for life. Someone like that can only be a source of disaster."
"Besides, I don't think he would sincerely help Captain America. If he pulls any tricks, we'll be in trouble."
"He certainly wouldn't sincerely help anyone in the Avengers, but the people here aren't just Avengers." Schiller smiled.
Stark, who had been studying the machine's wiring, seemed to catch Schiller's implication. He walked over and nudged Schiller with his elbow. "Don't go messing around. If this Essex is an evil scientist, Hydra won't get anything good out of him either."
"Let's hear the opinion of a normal scientist first." Captain America said, "When will Connors and the others arrive?"
"Connors has an important experiment on hand, and it'll take at least two or three days to hand it over. Dr. Pym was injured in an experimental accident a few months ago and hasn't recovered yet. Doctor Doom said he hasn't done much research on the X-gene, so we should contact him if we need magical methods..." Peter said, lowering his phone.
"So Reed's the only one coming?" Stark rolled his eyes dramatically. "That guy is seriously annoying."
"Reed's personality is indeed a little strange, but there's no questioning his professional ability." Steve patted Stark on the shoulder. "Though I think he's nowhere near as good as you at Mechanical Engineering, his accomplishments in medicine and biology are quite impressive."
Stark's expression turned strange too. Steve was complimenting him, so he should have been happy. But when he thought about having to spend time with Reed Richards, Stark immediately lost all enthusiasm.
The Avengers' prejudice against
