The weather was excellent today. A thin layer of clouds hung in the sky, reducing the intensity of the ultraviolet rays and keeping it from getting too hot. Yet the distant sky remained clear, unlike the gloomy dark clouds of a rainy day. Overall, it was the perfect time for outdoor activities.
In the backyard of Stone House, Peter was limbering up beside the trampoline. Once he had finished warming up, he stepped onto its edge and leaped hard toward the center.

Peter let out a cheer, while Pikachu, Rocket Raccoon, and Helen all erupted into enthusiastic applause.
After the fabric had been modified, it became softer and more elastic, capable of launching even lighter objects high into the air. After bouncing twice, Peter began showing off tricks, twisting in every direction midair and drawing cheers from the ladies as well.
After working up a sweat, Peter gradually slowed to a stop and hopped off the trampoline. Helen walked over and asked curiously, "You really recovered Spider-Man's abilities? Ordinary people can't jump that high."
"Only part of them." Peter shook his head. "I'm nowhere near as strong as I was when I was Spider-Man. I just feel a little stronger, and I don't even know if it's real. Maybe another spider bite would bring it all back."
Helen sucked in a breath. "You really plan to get bitten by a spider again? That must hurt, right?"
Peter scrunched up his face and nodded forcefully. "It hurt terribly. The wound kept hurting for at least two months after I got back. I almost made Harry compensate me for my medical bills."
