Schiller took out his phone and called Professor X as he headed outside. Before going to sleep last night, Professor X had called him and asked him to help investigate what had been going on with Magneto lately.
In Professor X's words, Magneto seemed seriously ill. The biological riots in the Andromeda galaxy were far from optimistic. Normally, that workaholic would have worked twenty-four hours a day, determined to catch the mastermind as soon as possible.
But lately, he had seemed rather distracted. Yesterday, he had even been willing to spend several hours holding a family meeting—no sane person could imagine Magneto sitting down with his children for a family meeting.
Professor X had originally intended to ask himself, but Magneto ignored him completely and wore that anti-harassment Helmet every day. Clearly, he had no intention of communicating with Professor X.
Magneto knew Professor X too well and guarded against him like a thief, so probing around for answers required someone else's help. That was why Professor X had turned to Schiller.
The moment he heard that something was off with Magneto, Schiller thought something serious had happened. But after asking Professor X a few questions, he had already roughly guessed what was going on.
Professor X had been very busy lately. Ever since he had released many of Legion's personalities, Legion himself had stabilized as well. Professor X was personally teaching him, hoping that one day he could become a banner for Mutants too.
Then there was the matter of Shi'ar Queen Lilandra. Though the queen had died at the banquet, only her body had perished. Her spiritual form remained within Professor X's mental world.
Because Professor X had placed restrictions on her, she did not know she had already been replaced and still hoped someone could help her
