"Erik? Erik?" Professor X called twice. When he realized he could not sense Magneto's brainwaves, he gritted his teeth and muttered, "Did you have to put on that damn Helmet at a time like this?!"

Magneto frowned. "Why the rush? Didn't you say we had three days to spread the news?"

"The plan has changed." Professor X told Magneto about Nathaniel and Apocalypse, then continued, "I suspect the people behind Apocalypse may be the New Skrull Empire."

"They're going after Mutants? Why go through such a roundabout way?" Magneto asked, though he clearly did not intend to wait for Professor X's answer. In this regard, he was far sharper than Professor X.

No matter what, Apocalypse was also one of the Mutants. To other advanced civilizations, identifying Mutants was not difficult. If Apocalypse attacked them, then it would become an internal Mutant war.

And if that war caused any damage, the Mutants would bear full responsibility. By then, they would have an excuse
