One very important piece of information recorded in the diary was that a family's goat had gone missing. It seemed that all the abnormalities had begun with that incident.

Goats had always been regarded as synonymous with demons. Aside from their strange appearance and rectangular pupils, black goats really did look remarkably like demons when standing upright.

According to the diary, a goat had gone missing and was later found again, but it had most likely not been found alive. So its owners had stewed it into soup.

As a result, everyone who drank the goat soup went mad.

Could the Wanderer's arrival have been related to that goat? Or had the goat gone missing because the Wanderer arrived, and those people had eaten the contaminated goat and gone insane?
