Greed generally wasn't very aggressive. He was someone who valued efficiency, so he rarely wasted words with people. But that didn't mean he had no likes or dislikes. What he couldn't stand most was people being idle.
You could be good or bad; smart or stupid. But you couldn't be idle. Even if what you did was completely meaningless, you still had to do it, and the busier, the better. Do it even if it was useless; do it even if it accomplished nothing.
Take Batman, for example. Ever since Schiller arrived, he hadn't done anything useful. But at least he was busy. Though being busy was useless, it at least made Schiller find him somewhat tolerable.
The Pale Rider was the same. After the government shut down, he handled an enormous amount of work by himself. Though none of it could improve Gotham in any way, and it honestly wouldn't matter if no one did it, he still worked himself into a dizzy frenzy. Schiller found him fairly tolerable too.
But this Bruce? He wandered from east to west, then from west to east. These past few days, he hadn't done anything in Gotham. Gotham's boss was still the boss—he did nothing but eat and play.
Although he had used his vampire bloodline to control most of Gotham's villains right from the start, he hadn't made them do anything either. They spent every day eating, drinking, playing, or simply idling around.
