"Number 20! Is Operating Room 20 available?!" Schiller shouted at the wall of pipes, form in hand.
A faint response came from one of the pipes. Schiller pushed open the counter door, walked over, and called into the passage, "Your records say you successfully cured a case of Purple Fungal Parasite in Lungs, right?"
After hearing an affirmative reply from the other end, Schiller said, "There's another case here. The infection is in the abdominal cavity. Can you handle it?"
Some sounds came from the other side. Schiller listened carefully and thought they were saying one of their doctors was resting. So he said, "Can I schedule the operation for two hours from now?... All right, I'll put it down first."
Schiller walked back and told the patient waiting at the counter, "Take your number and wait over there. Your operation will be in two hours. Next!"
Schiller checked the patient's condition again, then shouted toward the passage, "Joseph! Another Perforated Ear Canal Condition! The patient's temperature is normal, but his breathing is labored. Prepare to receive him!"
One of the passages answered, but Schiller was inside the counter and simply could not make out what he was saying, so he leaned closer and knocked on the pipe.
"I'm telling you, we're out of sponges!" a rough voice came from inside the passage. There was clearly some pounding going on over there. He said, "Treating a perforated ear canal requires sponges. Figure out a way to get some!"
"All right, wait a moment!"
"Is Jenna there?! Miss Jenna! I saw that you still had plenty of sponges over there. Give me some, and I'll return them tomorrow!"
With a whoosh, a bundle of sponges dropped from above the pipe. Schiller picked it up and tossed it into another pipe, then
