Once everyone had packed up and was ready to leave, Oliver seemed to remember that there were still two pairs of Batmen and Supermen being left hanging here.
He gestured for everyone not to leave yet. After standing there and thinking for a while, apparently unable to come up with anything, he said, "Sorry, I almost forgot. We still have some helpful friends from another universe. Everyone, help me think of something they can do."
"Keep an eye on Bruce!" several people said in unison.
Oliver waved his hand again, signaling everyone to calm down, then said, "Clark and Diana are already doing that..."
"Then keep an eye on all three of them at once," Hal cut in.
"I don't think that requires four people." Oliver was still trying to smooth things over. "How about this? Two people can join the planetary defense work, and two can join the off-world defense work. That works out perfectly."
"Then we'll take the off-world defense work," Batman said first. "We're very interested in the magical defense network. It would be even better if we could tour it and learn from it."
Oliver did not refuse. He nodded and said, "All right, Hal, they're with you."
Hal clearly looked like he had struck gold, because this pair of Batman and Superman looked far more normal than the other two, who were still locked in a cold war and obviously looked like Big Trouble.
Lex, who was responsible for planetary defense, could only give Oliver a helpless look before saying to Injustice Batman, "You two, come with me. I'll thank heaven if you don't cause trouble."
Everyone left the conference room to attend to their respective duties. Harley and Arthur went to study oceanic defense; Pamela went to the laboratory to continue advancing the Kryptonite
