Two small figures hovered above a massive planet. Aside from them, countless fragments drifted through space, most so shattered that their original forms were unrecognizable, radiating an overwhelming sense of decay and destruction.

Kara stood with her mouth slightly open, staring at the cities on the surface. Even before they entered the planet's atmosphere, her super vision had already revealed the ruined state of the cities to her.

"There's no time to mourn," Clark said. "Oliver sent word that Hal is attacking the sun like a madman. We need to find a way to stop him before the shield's energy runs out."

"Let's go down," Kara said.

The two of them flew together toward Krypton's surface.

Krypton was much smaller than Earth and had far fewer oceans. Judging solely by its terrain, it resembled Mars more closely.

Kryptonian civilization had been highly advanced as well. They had already reached the stage of extraterrestrial colonization, and their entire home planet had been transformed into one enormous city, serving as the capital of their civilization.

Even so, it was obvious that certain central regions of the planet had once been far more prosperous. Kara searched through the memories of her life here and finally pointed in one direction. "Over there. The Breeding Center is over there."

The two flew toward a tower-like building in the center of the prosperous district. Clark was also searching through the details of his memories.

Kryptonians possessed memories from the moment of birth. Even during infancy, shortly after they were born, they could remember certain things and store them deep within their Super Brains.
