Indian Fire God's roar snapped everyone back to their senses. As the skull opened its mouth wide, countless flames ignited around him, as though the great blaze from tens of millions of years ago had never gone out.
In an instant, every robot was swallowed by tongues of fire. Even with their metal bodies, they were utterly unable to resist flames thousands of degrees hot. The bullets they fired melted into liquid in an instant and dripped onto the ground.
The inferno lasted less than five minutes before every figure within it vanished. When the others emerged from the building again, there were no robots left in the courtyard, only molten iron covering the ground.
But strangely, the ground itself had not changed at all. Just like the Vines Pamela had created, once the Vines disappeared, the ground returned to normal, as if the anomaly had never happened.
