"So what am I supposed to do?" Schiller turned to the screenwriters and props team. Since this wasn't an official shoot, only set dressing, the screenwriters and props team were in charge.
"Come over here first." Someone from the props team stood in the forest and waved him over. "You need to leave some footprints around here, then pick these mushrooms..."
Schiller followed his instructions and went over, first examining the cluster of mushrooms. They were blue with white patterns, giving off a faint, ghostly glow. By the rule that the brighter something was, the more poisonous it tended to be, they could probably take down a dinosaur.
"These are called Slow Mushrooms. They can be used to brew Slow Potion." The screenwriter rolled up the script and pointed at the mushrooms. "According to the setting, Safir needs this potion to sneak out of school so he can attack the New York Sanctum. So he has to come here to gather these mushrooms."
Schiller rubbed his hands together. "So how do I pick them? Just pull them out?"
"Whatever you want." The screenwriter said. "Pick them however you think they should be picked."
Schiller looked at the props team. "Give me a pair of gloves, preferably something that looks obviously magical. And a small knife..."
Very soon, the props team handed him a pair of black leather gloves with nearly imperceptible silver patterns. Schiller put them on, grabbed the top of a mushroom with one hand, and used the knife in the other to pry it loose from the rotten wood. After picking it, he patted the mushroom cap, sending its spores drifting through the air.
"Not bad," Chris commented. "How are the footprints around here?"
"Pretty good," said the props team. "There are two on that path over there,
