Owlman and the others had not planned to go over; they only pretended to run after them for two steps before stopping. But when he looked in the eagle's direction, he saw that the bald eagle was actually carrying Lego Batman toward the magic forest.
Owlman immediately sensed trouble. Safir and he studied dark magic deep within the magic forest. While they had not left any evidence near the Wooden House, they had not deliberately concealed traces of their activities either. It would have been fine if someone else had gone there, but with so many Batmen rushing over, someone was bound to notice something.
